How it works / Minute Campus
No presenter. No unexplained jargon. One concept, in about a minute.
Minute Campus makes short vertical video lessons. Each one is built from motion graphics and a voiceover, and runs for 40 to 60 seconds. The picture does the explaining.
The subject is the career journey: the technology you will work with, the computer science underneath it, and the skills that get you hired and keep you growing.
Who it is for
Made for peopleat the start of a career.
- 01
Final-year students
You are about to look for a first job, and what people talk about at work is not quite what the syllabus covered.
- 02
Early-career professionals
You have a year or two of experience and want to understand the tools and ideas around you, without setting aside an evening for each one.
- 03
Anyone starting from zero
Lessons begin at beginner level. No technical background is assumed.
Method / 5 steps
From one ideato a finished minute.
- 01
One concept is chosen
It is checked against the list of every lesson so far. If the concept has been taught, it is not made again.
- 02
The script is written
Short sentences, concrete examples, and a title that is true as written.
- 03
The facts are checked
Every claim is checked against a primary source: the paper, the release notes or the company’s own post.
- 04
The voiceover is made
Audio comes first, so the pictures follow the explanation and not the other way round.
- 05
The motion graphics are built
Each lesson gets its own visual idea, timed to the voice, with captions throughout.
