What this site collects, and how to turn it off.
The short version
This site has no accounts, no forms and no email sign-up, so it never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
It uses one measurement tool, the Meta Pixel, which sets one cookie. You can turn it off below, and the site works the same without it.
The Meta Pixel
The Meta Pixel is a small script from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. We use it to count visits and to measure and show our own adverts on Meta's apps.
When it runs, it sends Meta:
- the address of the page you opened and the time
- your IP address and the browser and device you are using
- an identifier stored in a cookie named _fbp, which lasts about three months
- which outside link you clicked, for example the link to our YouTube channel
What Meta does with it
If you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta can connect the visit to your account. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy, and we never see who you are: we only see totals.
Your choice
If your browser's time zone is in Europe, the pixel stays off until you accept it. Elsewhere it is on unless you turn it off. Either way, the choice is yours and you can change it here at any time.
Your choice is saved in this browser only. If you clear your browser's storage, the site will ask again.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel processes the technical details each request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to deliver the page.
Links to other sites
The lessons are watched on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Once you follow a link there, that platform's own privacy policy applies.
